13th Infantry Regiment
From the "History of DeWitt County, Illinois - 1882"
This was organized under the Ten-Regiment Bill at Dixon, IL, May 9, 1861, and mustered into
the US service May 24, 1861. It made several marches through Missouri and Arkansas, and
July 9, 1864, consolidated with the Fifty-sixth Illinois Infantry Volunteers.
