CLINTON SCHOLARS - 1867

DCGSQ Vol IV No. 1

The Clinton Public School Scholarship: The following is a partial report of the scholarship standing of students in the Clinton Graded School for the months of Dec. and Feb. Recitations are marked on a scale of from "0" to "100". Students getting an average standing of "80" we think do well; those falling below "70" do poorly; while such as get a standing of "90" or upwards we call "Star Soholars." We here report only our "Stars."

branches required in the grade to which they belonged, and are not
entitled to as much credit as others, not received as high marks,
but have manfully taken the required course of study.
