133RD REGMENT


From the "History of DeWitt County, Illinois - 1882"


These volunteers were organized in this regiment by Col. Thaddeus Phillips, 
May 31, 1864.  On the 3rd of June, moved to Rock Island Barracks and was assigned
to guarding prisoners of war.  The regiment was mustered out September 24, 1864.
